Hackers (A3 Poster Copy)

$30.00

Hackers" talks for itself.

Difficulty: 1/1000 + 1990/10000

Clue: The intersections between the sticky silk threads (spirals)- starting from the center - and the radial threads are where the hidden message got stuck.

Size: A3 - 297mm x 420mm

Did you know that:

- Without seeing the spider, its size may be approximately determined by watching the web.
Indeed, there is a direct correlation between a spider size and the distance at the extremity of two consecutive radial threads of its web.
The space between the web spirals may give an idea of its legs size (more precisely the distance between its back legs and its spinners).

- Certain drugs (caffeine, nicotine, marijuana, LSD, ...)  affect the way spiders build webs. And for a spider specie, each drug has a distinctive visual signature. There seems to be a correlation between the drug toxicity and the abnormal holes percentage in the web.

- In 2002, mammals (cow, hamster, ...) have been genetically modified to produce silk... with success.
